Hello, Our Whirlpool W80 washing machine has started tripping our main sockets trip switch. Did a wash this morning then tripped on second wash. Did a wash this evening, then tripped on second wash. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Coud be leak, heater, wiring, motor etc. The list is endless. Do not use. Everytime it trips more damage is being done to the machine. Click on the red toolbox on the homepage for an engineer to have a look. He will have test equipment to diagnose the earth leakage fault. Best unplug for now!

No leaks, Pump and main motor running fine, motor on main switch seems to be making a noise. How easy is it to change the main switch if it is that?

    Hi Richard,
When you say “motor on main switch is noisy”. Do you mean the timer motor is noisy on the timer. The main switch is the one you push in to turn the appliance on. i have looked at the timer and it should say 914/1440 on it. If you do require one i have one in stock. It is very rare for the timer to go on one of these though.
