    Hi,
    Indesit WDG985W (washer/dryer) stopped drying years ago, but now the programme timer doesn’t advance during the cycle.
    Came home yesterday to find that it had been filling and emptying on program 4 for the previous 8 hours! I had to click it forward to 5 to complete the wash.
    Is it an expensive timer/programmer unit that is broken or something simpler?
    Any advice would be most welcome.
    Any advice on the drying part would also be gratefully received.

    Hi
    Worth checking empty hose isnt too far down waste pipe, only needs to go about a quarter of the way down.

    THanks for advice.
    Empty pipe attaches to side of sink waste pipe up at sink height. Is this reasonable?
