    Hi,

I have a Hoover Optima WMH 148 DF-80 washing machine and it keeps flashing 1:58 with the timer icon. It won’t go past this and is stuck in cycle, where nothing else can be done with the machine. The drum doesn’t fill with water, empty or spin – the timer just keeps flashing.

Is there a way to master reset the washing machine? or is there another problem with the machine?

I have already cleaned the filter and drained with the hose pipe.

    Try this:

With the rotatary selector off, press and hold in the top option button nearest the selector.

Whilst holding the button in, rotate the knob 2 positions clockwise. Hold button in for 5 seconds then release and then turn rotary selector to off.

That procedure may sort it, let us know how you get on.

I have the same issue with my washer. Tried the reset that was suggested but doesn’t work.
