    Hi

A couple of weeks ago my Whirlpool ADP8693 dishwasher gave me an error code of E1 F8. So I cleaned the filters, poured some hot water through it, then used a mug of white vinegar to clean everything up.

Since then, I get no errors and the machine runs through all cycles to completion. However, it leaves dishes greasy, and when run with a thermometer probe inside, doesn’t get up above 25 degrees c. (tap water is 18-19 degrees c so there is some level of heating going on, just not enough).

Does anyone know of a test diagnostic cycle I could run to work out what the fault might be?

I’ve searched for test cycles on whirlpools and only found similar machines, and the test cycle doesn’t appear on mine (e.g. switch off machine, hold down start, switch on machine, release start, press start, close door).

    Thanks
    Rob

There are 4 or 5 different things that could cause the problem you have and it is not possible to make an accurate diagnosis of your problem without first having a hands-on with your appliance…

Think about engaging the services of an Appliance Engineer

Thanks…will do, just wondered if there was a test cycle I could do first to narrow it down! All other whirlpools seem to offer this, just not mine!
