    Just called out to a Bosch WAP28360GB washing machine drum sounded like it had a loose pully but on checking with the back off the motor is only moving round in short jerks causing the pully to ring like a bell.
    Looks like a 3phase motor (very small) and an inverter driving it nothing loose on the wiring and the inverter board has no sign of physical damage has anyone had similar problems with this machine cant be sure if its the inverter or the motor causing the problem.

    Had one a few months back and Bosch replaced the board under warranty

    sounds like it is the board then thanks.
    The machine is 18 months old probaly out of garantee

    Definitely the motor module. When it fails in this manner , the error code when accessed will point towards a tight drum or something jammed between tub and drum…..hence the way the drum jerks as it tries to spin.

    They come with a 2 yr guarantee.
