    Tried fitting new control board- mistake.Seemed alright to start with- lights on again but after an hour nearly boiling (on 40 cottons program). Stopped machine and left to cool overnight.Checked all connections again and tried ‘rinse’ to get clothes out of machine. Came to end of cycle and after spinning down for a few seconds heard a pop and saw puff of smoke- same damage on control board. Any ideas Dave or anyone or should I give up now? I couldn’t attach pictures. Do I need an e-mail address to atta ch it to?

    Sounds like you have more than one problem on your machine and should seek assistance from an appliance engineer.

    As it’s an Amica spare I suspect Dave in the shop may have supplied it 😉

    No you simply add a picture by the upload attachment button which is under the save draft, preview and submit ones.
