    Not good either lol.

There are a few others out there including manufacturers paying that sort of money with a lot better conditions! It does depend on what the ote consists of and where you live as a rule of thumb.

The amount of calls we get where an another engineer has “left the company” / “no longer works for 0800” speaks volumes about their retention rates. And let’s not get started on their contract terms and so on =]

yip engineer joins with visions of 35k coming up like a fruit machine in their eyes..

couple of months down the line , after working every weekend and late nights they’ve earned 3k if their lucky and decide to bin it..

more calls for the agents ..

Haha yeah. And that’s if they don’t reject your invoice with no reason why, and lot’s of ummm’ing and arrrr’ing when queried about it.

We had an former “0800” inhouse engineer work for us for about 3 months a few years back.

He soon earned the nickname “Banana Hands” and was dropped quick smart.

WE BINNED JTM 0800 for that reason , always owing more in parts than we made in labour ,a very convenient way for jtm to work.

i know guys who make it work but how i dont know , maybe sitting a computer all day chasing them

I love the line they give “Invoice rejected: Maunf has replaced. Please return parts and class as BER”

Um, Argos have chucked the unit on a skip somewhere. Exactly how are we meant to get the parts? Ad infinitum.

yip its a classic move – basically your stuffed with either an expensive motor or module,

life to short for putting up with that nonsense ,

a lot better if you not vat reg i believe as you dont get silly charges on parts .

or just complete the job so you dont get stuffed with part

Could you even imagine having that van parked outside your house, I would need £35K just for the embarrassment.
