Capel DI 414 problem

    Hi there,

    Our DI414 (re-badged Whirlpool) is playing up. When I start it, it drains the residue of water and then tries to refill. It then stops and bleeps. The fault indicator flashes in a series of 6 even flashes.

    Any idea? I have tried to clean the level sensor which was the problem before but it hasn’t helped.

    OK, I’ve found out what the error code is – either inlet valve or the flow meter. Now, I don’t want to have to buy both, so how do I test them so that I can buy the correct part?
