    Hi all

    I have a Samsung RS21 fridge/freezer and the control buttons do not work. Panel lights up ok and doesn’t have the normal defrost issues. Water and ice dispences ok but cannot switch to crushed ice 🙁

    Buttons dont work, cannot do a diagnostic check etc.

    Bought a new panel and fitted that but nothing has changed, checked for corrosion and it all looks ok.

    I was going to test the wiring from the panel to wherever it goes, but not taken it apart yet.

    If anyone has any clues it would be helpful, or do I need to call out an engineer to sort this out?

    Have you got the child lock on?.

    If the child lock is set none of the buttons will work.

    No, haven’t switched the child lock on.

    Just spoted in the manual that theres 2 wiring plugs under the door hinge covers, going to take a look at them tonight incase one of them is brokened.
