The washer is around 2 yrs old and hasnt been any trouble until this week, when i select a wash program and press start,i can hear water going into the machine but it is only for a matter of 1 /2 seconds, (nothing like the time it normally fills for ) then it stops filling, nothing else happens just the disply / timer starts counting down just as though its going through a program, after about 5 minutes it starts flashing h20 on the display and bleeping.Any help would be appreciated

First thing to do is to check all the fill valve solenoids for resistance/continuity, with the mains plug removed of course.

Just checked the fill valve solenoids, and all show resistance/continuity, also removed the pressure sensor pipe and blown down it,was clear and replaced the sensor . Still the same?

Any ideas, before i give it the scrap man?Seems a shame for it to go for scrap, wondered if the pcb has failed.

Indesit machines do not have a good reputation for reliability, the electronics in particular are prone to many faults.

Have you checked and tightened all of the connections on the main circuit board?

A new pcb will cost you around £100 but will need programming, for that you will need a £20 smart card and a £100+ card reader.

If it is under 5 years old then it may be best to take advantage of your five year parts warranty.

Search this forum for H20 and you will get some painful reading. :rolls:
