    Hi there, i recently (2 weeks ago) purchased a smeg DWD612CSS dishwasher and have done 10 successful loads. now however all i get now is a single orage light above P1 comes on and above prewash picture. i have read many topics and im afraid that none work however when i turn the machine off then on followed by pressing P1 and P2 simultaneously i get all the lights on the right to flsh however this does not solve my problem, in the salt tray i have about half full with salt and then about an inch of water on top.
    please help as its driving me mad!!

    Flood protection system has been operated – basically it has leaked into the undertray. Draining the undertray will allow the machine to operate, but you still have to find the leak.

    As the machine is so new, get the engineers in.

    thanks i guessed as much! got an engineer coming on friday.

    just to let everyone know the score, its a dead electronics system, there were no leaks to be seen and when the electronics board was tested it failed so a new one is on its way
