ParticipantSo I generally note from experience, that the people who use fabric softeners are for the most part obsessed with the smell, than the actual softness associated with fabric softeners.
But of course fabric softeners are terrible for most garments, particularly towels absorbency, which i personally cannot stand.
However I do enjoy some of these scents that fabric softeners produce and no detergent scent ever lasts much longer than the initial wear after a wash.
So… I would be interested to know is this the answer to that?
The fresh smell without the negative effects that softener provides?
I understand this is relatively new to the UK, so was just wondering had anyone tried it?August 6, 2014 at 3:15 pm #417556Andy jones

Haven’t tried myself yet but they seem to have good reviews, although I always take them with a large pinch of salt

I just think it sounds like a cool concept if it isn’t going to coat your clothes and garments with that horrible sort of film like you get with softeners and just give you a really nice scent.
Don’t get me wrong i love detergent scents, but they don’t last, unless you use a lot of powder.August 6, 2014 at 5:29 pm #417558Dales-Electronic

They are doing field trials with the general public at this very moment, will be interesting to see if the product is still on the market in a year or so.

I just mainly want to know that it won’t act like a softener and just give my clothes a great scent.
I mean judging how different the ingredients are from the fabric softeners I’m assuming it does indeed just give a nice scent. Plus lenor instruct to use it with their softeners to make the clothes soft.August 6, 2014 at 5:38 pm #417560Ryannnn

Judging by the ingredients, which our completely different to softeners, it does litterally just help to add a scent. As lenor still instructs to add softener if you want softness.
