have the above dishwasher and the unit does not want to heat.
Both sides of the element are live.
I can only think the p.switch or the PCB but am open to suggestions before dive in and buy parts.
The unit has Been installed without an earth connection on the mains if that can contribute to any issues on the PCB.
Appreciate any help

Pcb’s are prone to no heat faults, what do you mean by the element is live both sides?
And also the no earth part

The element has 240v to both terminals the element. tested using a multimeter.
The dishwasher has been plugged into a socket with no earth connection, didn’t know if this could cause any common pcb issues.

There doesn’t need to be a cause TBH, they are very poor and very prone to no heat faults at the best of times. 🙁

I certainly wouldn’t be working on it live with no earth connection, like jim said these elements do play up
