ParticipantI need to buy a slim washer dryer. Due to a pipe the maximum depth I have is about 48cm. Please can you let me know if you are aware of any good washer dryers with that depth.
Many thanks,

When I saw the thread title I though someone was opening a chippy.
TBH, apart from a Miele there are no ‘good’ washer dryers and the fact that a washer dryer is basically two machines compressed into one means a slimline one would be out of the question AFAIK.

Lol. Clean you’re clothes and cook you’re chips at the same time, in all serious though I’m pretty certain you won’t get one

Correct in one 😉 minimum slim depth is 53.5 cm.
Any chance the offending pipe can be re routed ? Has a plumber been in to have a look ?

I’ve never asked. Previously it hasn’t been that much of a problem and I’m looking for a quick solution, which may not be possible

Shifting the pipe has got to be the swiftest of solutions.

It’s possible but I can’t think where the pipe would go. My last two washer dryers have fit so I was hoping to find another. But if no one knows of one I may have to think again.
Thanks,

What was the make and model of your previous washer dryer?

Candy/Hoover do a 44cm deep Washer Dryer. I had the Hoover badged one a few years ago and wouldn’t recommend it.
The AEG L75670WD washer dryer is 52.2cm deep

Previously I had an Indesit WIDL126 but Indesit sizes are now bigger.
Thanks for your suggestions Daniel. What problems did you have with the Hoover and do you have any experience with the AEG L75670WD?
Thanks,

No problem. The Hoover was noisy and not very stable. The tub would hit itself off the front and back of the cabinet, despite being on a stable floor and level.
I can’t comment on the AEG however I’m sure some other members will be able to give their opinion on them.

The AEG on a much higher plain than Hoover/Candy and the Indesit sits below them.
