Hi,
Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue with Whirlpool ADP-4601. The vertical plastic part that connects in to the bottom section keeps popping out during washes. The result is a very poor wash, and often the need to keep the dishes in and start a new cycle. This happens about 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of time.
The part needs to be pushed back in manually, fitting as tightly as possible, but – frustratingly – with the knowledge that is is likely to pop out again on next cycle.
When it doesn’t pop out, the wash is good.
Am I missing something here? Is this a design fault or a missing part? Or do I just need to find something suitable to wedge in the part to the base so that it does not have the chance to pop out in future?
