LG problems

I am unaccustomed to posting but cannot find where to start a new thread, but this is also a a front loader washing machine problem.

I am an extremely unhappy LG client.

I have made several LG purchases over the past few years and have had little to complain about, up until now.

I purchased an LG WD-1238C 7,5kg inverter front loading washing machine in July 2009.

It cost $796.00. That is expensive.

I have no error code but the on/off button on the front of the machine is not always reacting. Once it starts all the programs run just fine.I was horrified to find out today that I am unable to purchase a PCB board for the machine as it has been discontinued.
I am thinking in the old days, quick solder on cicuit bord as only one part of it has an issue,,,but with these new crappy resin boards, I am not sure this is possible.
My previous machine lasted me 15 years and it makes no sense at all that I can get parts for my car which is over 10 years old but cannot get a PCB board for a washing machine that I only purchased 4 years ago.

I would like to know of a compatible LG PCB that will fit my machine as I do not have $800.00 to buy another and I should not have to as my previous machine lasted me 15 years.
