i have the above unit with a fault causing the evap to ice over.
i have had the same issue with this unit 12 months ago and we changed the evap sensor to resolve.

all the condenser and vents are all clear and the condenser fan is running.

the evap sensor reads 24.6 ohms at room temp
the air sensor reads 10.2 ohms at room temp
both defrost heaters test ok and the fuse is ok

can anyone tel me what these are meant to read and or if there is a better way of testing the sensors.

i have swapped the air and evap sensors as are the same but not to sure witch one works. i am hoping that the air sensor is just used for the display / high temp alarm and will now show the incorrect temp but continue the defrost cycle.

Please an anyone help as i am one more visit away from throwing in the towel lol

    thanks

Yes there are but, only Samsung agents will have them

So far as I am aware, Samsung have put the fear of God into them on releasing manuals though.

But someone will know the answer, I don’t as I do not have access to Samsung’s GSPN system I think they call it.

Put a new sensor on the freezer evaporator and put the original air sensor back where it belongs.
