    Hi all,

I have a Free standing Bosh Tumble Dryer WTV74104UK/10.

    Its about four years old.

It seems to be working well.

Most people only service/repair a dryer after a problem has occurred.

I would like to know if there are any ideas about maintenance that could be offered (other than clean the normal lint filter after every session).

Is there any point in taking a pre-emptive approach, and getting it serviced/MOT’d.

What would be a sensible approach to take at this point?

to be honest there is not a lot to do. a trained ear will pick up things you wont
but the most important thing is to keep an eye on lint build up inside the casing. this builds up over time the more its used the more you will get. as you can imagine if a lot builds up it is a potential fire hazard
