Zanussi ZDC67550W – No Power

After what appeared to be a successful cycle (load was dry and reservoir had plenty of water to empty), no lights turn on and no power seems be coming to the appliance.

I have checked the plug socket and that works fine (also tried a different one), changed the fuse and checked that the original one works, but nothing has changed and the machine still does not work.

The condensor filter has not been regularly cleaned, so may be the cause of the problem, this has now been cleaned as has the bay in which it sits. The fluff filters are cleaned each load.

The dryer has been moved into a utility room recently (1-2 months) and the room does get pretty warm, as does the dryer, but it has been working just fine until now.

The dryer was purchased in August 2010, we are a family of six living in the UK so it gets used a great deal to put it mildly!

I have searched the forums but didn’t find anything that helped me, I woud be very grateful for any suggestions, thank you.
