Customer want me to fit a new single oven,being a replacement for existing one.
she tells me there was a issue when the last one was fitted as the 13amp socket is very near the sink, in a very small kitchen. When looking up some info its recommend a 300mm distance,( is this a legal requirement )!!

Yes it is but it doesn’t involve ‘existing installations’ or anyone who subsequently replaces like for like to that installation.
