    THE WATER DAINAGE BEHIND THE WASHER MACHINE IS BACKING UP. WHAT IS CAUSING THE BACK UP. PLEASE REPY… THANK YOU

    I take it you mean the standpipe that the washer outlet hose goes into????

    If water is leaking over the top of the standpipe then you have some sort of blockage in your plumbing. If you can’t sort it yourself – call a plumber.
