Smeg DWF64SSE – Again :-(our dishwasher broke about 9 mont

Hi,
our dishwasher broke about 9 months ago and the forum helped me get it up and going again (albeit with the eventual assistance of an engineer).

HOWEVER it’s playing up again – this time with a different problem. This time when we run a cycle it will complete pre-wash and move onto wash (we hear the “click” that releases the flap inside for the tablet) – then the thing grinds to a halt with a beep – and all four indicators are illuminated simultaneously. As usual I have looked the error code up in the manual, but again as usual it’s not listed.

The weird thing is if we press the button to restart the cycle as soon as it stops the washer will restart the wash cycle again (again “clicking” open the allready open tablet holder) and complete OK.

Any pointers as to what might be causing the cycle to be interupted greatly appreciated.
