Not too familiar with the old frost frees yet but checked all I can check.
Defrost heater OK, thermal fuse and fan run OK but fan reported as noisy originally.
report was of noise and fridge not cooling. Ice found in fridge vent from fan. Remove ice and all ran well for a week then same again.
This time find water in base of fridge which I presume is getting into the fan cowling causing the freeze up. Checked evaporator components, all OK, customer insists no spillages. Any ideas???
Any ideas on this one. Customer complaint again of fridge side not working but no water in base of fridge this time. Could the thermistor be resistance have drifted or could it possibly be a ofv related defrost fault. Any help appreciated.
Cheers Bob, that sounds feasible defrost water sucked back in and freezing. Oh the joys of being employed again and doing stuff I have up working on years ago 🙁
