    We have a BEKO tall fridge it has statred to smell like something has died in the back of it. We have had a look and the cardboard backing is black and mouldy we have cleaned off the worst bits but it still reaks.
    Any ideas? 😐

    Cardboard backing? That’s odd! What’s the model number of the fridge anyway???

    More likely the drip tray on the compressor needs cleaned

    I thought that i dont think it was supposed to be there cleaned out drip tray hopefully cleared it up. 🙂

    If you found cardboard in drip tray it was probably packaging that should have been removed on day one when appliance was delivered.
    You need to clean with an antibacterial spray cleaner or any bacteria that was there will likely regrow & smell again.
