Hi all,
Our Hotpoint Aquarius TCL780G has stopped drying and gives an error code with lights 2 and 4 are on continously. The drum rotates and everything else seems ok (filter and condenser have been cleaned out and water emptied, tried switching it off and back on too but the same thing happens). I was thinking it might be a thermostat issue but can’t find the error code to help.
could anyone advise if this sounds like a thermostat problem or something else please?
(Edited as I was reading the lights wrong. Originally I was looking at the horizontal lights instead of the vertical ones so I’ve corrected it above)

You need to count the right hand, vertical lights from BOTTOM to TOP with the END light counting as 1 and ignoring the very top light, that is to say only the lowest five lights are used for error codes.
