srs2028cvw displaying incorrect temp in the freezer

I have a customer with a srs2028cvw (ss20wh3/xeu)

when i arrived the freezer temp display was @ -24c
the actual freezer temp was @ -2c

i checked the air sensor but when i powered the unit back up the display displayed -2c

could this be something as simple as a bad connection on a sensor / faulty sensor or could it be a previous error stopping correct operation.

there was no frost and no airflow issues.

if it is and air sensor issue dose anyone know the part number for the small air temp sensor at the rear of the freezer as connect and qualtex only seem to have details for the whole rear cover.
