Hi I have an Indesit WIDXL126, it presented the 2nd and 4th fault lights indicating a pressure switch problem which proved to be a blocked drain however now that has been fixed no fault lights illuminate though the motor does not run, you can hear the relay click as if to run the motor one way and the other though the drum does not turn, any ideas? Many thanks, Simon.

Motor brushes would be first thing to check.

Many thanks, the brushes were replaced about 9 months ago.

The brushes are worn and the commutator does not look great which is probably why the new brushes have not lasted. Time for a new unit I think, it has been hammered for 6 + years.

    Thanks for your comments.
