    Hi Guys,
    enlighten me please,
I’m getting Error 8 on the display here, Checked CESET motor through the Tacho and getting just around 42Ohms. As I found an irregular scoring on one of the Carbons I replaced them and the machine filled and started running as per normal.
I reset the machine and ran a full spin program which it finished without issue.
A while later I get a phone call informing me that the F08 has returned.
The Armature and Tacho were removed and cleaned from carbon, the wires for the Tacho were checked and are in good condition.
Is 42Ohms at Tacho correct for the Ceset motor?
    Board Fault?
Any Tech Info(Service manual) would be greatful
    Chris

Are you sure it is F08 and not E:08?

I wouldn’t say so. If the board were faulty it wouldn’t recognise the error in the first place! More likely a break between the tacho and the board or a spurious earth leak perhaps?
