ParticipantDishwasher completes cycle to end but does not pump out rinse water despite pumping out mid cycle. Repair man said he thought circuit board had gone therefore not worth repairing. (machine is three years old). Obtained correct circuit board myself and fitted without difficulty but it has made no difference. Any suggestions folks?

The main circuit board is only about £30. Must be worth that.

I know this sounds blindingly obvious but have you checked the pump properly??? At 3 years old it must be clapped out by now.

Do you know if it had heated?
Have had problems on them with small cable to heater thermistor & water counter going open circuit in loom at bottom of door.
Loom to pump could be on the way out either or pump going o/c when hot.October 6, 2014 at 10:49 am #41972388tinkler

Thanks for help. Yes everything works OK apart final pump out. Only other symptom is a noise as if pump is operating in a series of bursts part way through.

Agree with Martin then, likely the pump is buggered or summit stuck in it, piece of broken crockery, glass, bone, sweetcorn kernel etc.

Check regeneration tank valve. It’ll fill on final rinse, then wait for valve to pass water through, it won’t drain until that completes.

It may look like the photos or a simple resistance test will suffice .

Thanks for helpful response Lee. Bit of an amateur here. Don’t know what regeneration tank valve looks like nor where to find it. Few pointers would be much appreciated.

Take the base off, it’s attached to the salt container and has two wire connectors, looks the same as the valve your fill hose screws onto. The photos I’ve put here are of your model, so it’ll help to identify.
