I have a customer with a Neff Washing Machine.
Model Number W3150 G0 GB / 00
FD 6907 0000/10
Obviously diagnosed quite quickly that there was a shorting heater element.
This was the first time this machine had ever needed a repair.
We supplied this customer the washing machine and matching tumble dryer back in 1990.
The dilemma.
This machine is immaculate still but 24 years old.
I started my usual hunt for the heater element from my suppliers and nobody has the part and informed me that it is now an obsolete part.
I had also obviously asked Neff and they actually only keep parts for models up to 10 years old which doesn’t say a lot about the life expectancy of their machines that I always rated highly. Probably the best after Miele.
Anyway, I asked Neff for the part number hoping to find an element supplier that, if not having an original would have a replacement.
I haven’t found one yet.
The Neff part Number is 000 73981 – Heater Element
Is there anyone on here that can tell me where I can find a genuine or replacement part for this machine.
It would be a shame to have to throw this machine away for the customer and I personally have enough salad bowls from the door glasses.
