I have a 2006 RS21 which developed the common fridge problem where ice build up led to temperature issues.

A full repair was done through a Samsung Agent in Nov Last year. Now the same fault has reoccurred and Samsung insist that any repair is chargeable. It seems a bit unfair as the fault is clearly related to one of the parts replaced when the “upgrade” was made less than a year ago.

Anyway speaking with Samsung service has cost me an hour of my life today and they wont budge on their stance. Does anyone have an idea of which component is to blame.

On diagnostic mode there are no LED segments showing. The temp reads 3 degrees but on switching on and off shows 11 degrees. The Fridge is cold in bottom but warm at top. I think the fan does run if I hold the door switch for over 8 seconds. There is Ice visible around the lower panel just near the water cooler. Freezer is 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} fine.

Thanks for any help you can give
