ParticipantHi Folks
Has anybody got the part no. for this drum pulley? Hotpoint, Connect and Qualtex all saying it is a metal pulley fitted but the pulley fitted is plastic and fits a splined shaft (much like the Hoover m/c’s).
Indesit Model No. WIB111(UK)
Ser. No. 807304126
Prod No. 46464700200It maybe the tub asy might have been changed to a later one or posibly Indesit have discontinued the plastic pulley and you have to have a complete tub asy change now (which wouldn’t surprise me these days) :rolls:
Just need someone with a bit of experience to come up with a part no other than some one who can only operate within the parameters of a computer!
Thanks
Mick

Partfinder only shows what appears to be the metal pulley and a very small, smudged diagram of the earlier split drum that is virtually useless.
The plastic pulley for the Hotpoint and other Indesit models is C007270717. :con:

Thanks for the reply Jim
Think that part no is C00270717 ?
Think I found that one when I was searching under “Indesit Drum Pulley” on spares sites. Looking at picture it fits a double flat round drum shaft where as the the drum shaft fitted is a splined shaft.
Might put this on the tech. forum see if there is any of the Hotpoint guys come across this.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Indesit bought a batch of these drum assemblies cheap then the manufacturer went bump after they drove the price down – hence no spares listed for it.
Pulley had come loose and worn the pulley hole – just wanted to replace pulley incase it came loose again. Looks like it might be a Locktight and big hammer job!
Thanks again
Mick

On revist to this found this wasn’t a splined shaft it was a double flat shaft 😳 (could have sworn it was splined but couldn’t have taken it off but just felt the play) so the part number you gave me was the right one.
Think I must have had a senior moment then! Maybe it’s getting time to retire!
Thanks again.
