    Hello,

We have a 7yr old Miele W524 washing machine which has developed a fault where the soak / pre-wash light flashes and machine does not work.

    So far I have
    1. Checked inlet and outlet pipes for blockage – some blockage apparent but now clear.
    2. Removed and unblocked pipes from drain pump to exit. Small pipes were quite clogged but now all clear.
    3. Checked pipe to back on control panel (think this may be pressure switch) – all clear.

I have found lots of information about clogged pipes to the pressure switch causing this problem. I cannot find a specific pressure switch. Is this in the PCB on the control panel ? – that is where the small black pipe goes to.

Any other ideas how to fix this would be very much appreciated.

The Analogic pressure switch is incorporated into circuit board, it does have a small hose attached to it. I can be destriyed by blowing up into it by the way.
Most likely the problems people have described is the pressure vessel (at bottom of small hose) being blocked with gunge.
