    Hi we have a CDA CW494 dishwasher that has decided to stop washing. When I try to start a new cycle it immediately starts beeping, I hear it drain the water and then it just sits there with the start light flashing (indefinitely, not in a pattern, probably twice a second).
    I’ve performed a test-run and it fails immediately with very strange error lights, it has a fast flashing on the 3rd cycle (Bio) light, and the 4th light is solid green.
    The Salt light is also on but I think this has been on forever.
    I’ve cleaned all the filters and nothing is blocking the movement of the mechanism.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    just to add – today i completely refilled the salt, it has not made any difference but I notice that the salt light is still on – this may or may not be useful information.

    Is the water supply switched on or water present into the appliance. Usually you’ll get a few moments of dull humming if the valve opens but no water passing. If not either try and identify the code or get CDA out.
