    Whenever i have finished using my bottom oven and turn it off by the dials, the top oven light begins to glow as if it is on however when i turn the dial on the temp the light goes out, i am having to turn the oven off by the mains after every use incase it is left on, does anyone know if this is a common fault or how to sort it out thanks in advance!!!

    One of the elements on the appliance has an earth leakage fault most likely. You will need an insulation tester/megger to find out which.

    Thanks for the answer, I turn it off every night whether the lights on or not if the light is on is it safe to leave the over turned on at the mains sorry for the 20 questions am just a bit paranoid
