    I went to this last week and replaced the main motor (due to earth fault) and the dryer heater, and left it working ok, but ive just had a call from the tenant saying that it has gone straight onto the drying cycle without it being selected and of course she was out at the time and its ruined a couple of hundred pounds worth of football shirts 👿 ive got her booked in to have a look but has anyone come across this or do you have any pointers

    Sounds like the customer made a mistake and is blaming you…

    Unless the dryer control was set to a time or auto by mistake, I would guess it’s her that done it and is trying a fast one

    I think you’re right, I’ve rang her and told her to put it on the same wash empty yo try it and if it does it again I will bring it into the workshop to run it to try and find the fault, her reply was it’s probably just a blip! Lol , awaiting her call now
