    I’ve got a duvet that has developed a small amount of mildew and I thought it would make sense to wash it in Borax or Soda crystals. Could these products, particularly Borax because it seems more effective, damage my new washer dryer?

    Normal bleach containing detergent and a very hot wash should do.

    I can’t see any need for much else.
