    Good evening all,

I have fitted a pattern thermostat to the above cooker to cure an overheat and control problem.

However, having wired as per Qualtex information, all is fine, other than the warning light does not go out when the selected temperature is reached.

I’m pretty sure the wiring connections are ok, as all the other thermostat functions are fine.

Should I be suspecting a faulty new part, or looking elsewhere?

There are only five connections used on this thermostat, although no wire has been assigned to the earth terminal on the new thermostat; perhaps this is where the fault lies?

    Original: F, G, H, 2 & 6 – New: Single Terminal A, Twin Terminal B & Twin terminal C

    Thank you,

    jonty

    Hi Jonty

Are you sure the model number is correct ? unable to find it listed.

What is the part number for the thermostat you have.
