This fridge on a max setting of 5 has a the internal back panel with ice formed on. This I think would indicate that the compressor is working but the food is not being kept cool. I believe the fan located inside the fridge is supposed to circulate the air within the fried to keep the food to a correct temperature. The fan does work when the switch is pressed in the control panel. Does anyone know how the fan is controlled when in normal use?

If you have it set on the maximum 5 and the ice is even on the rear panel in the fridge it may be you have it set to high.

If you have to much ice on the rear panel it will not work at the correct temperature.

The fan only works with the door closed.

Turn it off with the door open to allow it to defrost the rear panel.

It is best to leave it off for 24 hours.

Turn it back on when it has defrosted and set it on 3.

Hopefully it should work ok after four to six hours.

If the problem returns in a few weeks you may have a sensor fault.
