Went to an LG washer model F1443KD as customer complaining it was going out of balance and stopping on almost every wash, regardless of the type or size of load. Sometimes it takes them an hour of constant resetting to complete a spin.
This machine has the tub fixed to the cabinet (it only just fits in) with no tub suspension at all. However the inner drum is floating on suspension which is quite soft (seems to be even and functioning per design). It can nudge the door seal quite easily. Seems a daft design. Not seen it before. It has a direct drive motor integrated into the drum pulley, which I am familiar with.
I have seen this LG OOB problem widely reported on the internet. Does anyone have a cure for it – like harder springs for the inner drum suspension? Or is it just a really bad design?
Cheers for any wisdom.
