    Hi,

I have a Zanussi ZDT41 dishwasher and have noticed that the Active Drying Air Guide (part 135 shown at the URL below) spits water from the seal when the dishwasher is running. I’m assuming that this isn’t supposed to happen so am going to buy a replacement part.

The Dishwasher Drying Tube (part 110B at the URL below) attaches to the Active Drying Air Guide on the top of the dishwasher, my question is does anyone know what it connects to at the other end? I ask as when investigating the initial water spitting I pulled the part too far from the dishwasher and the tube became detached.

I removed the side panel and the only place that it looks like this tube connects to (and can physically reach) is what looks like a small drip tray without any drainage. This tray was 3/4 full of water. Does this sound correct and if not does anyone know where the tube should be connected?

I have a feeling that the tube is an air inlet rather than a water outlet and that if I replace the Active Drying Air Guide then there won’t be any more water escaping down the tube but that’s just my guess.

    This URL

Thanks in advance for reading my post, all help and advice will be gratefully received.

Mod edit: shortened the url as it was disappearing off the page width.

You need that & the seal underneath it, not sure if it comes with it.
Make sure its fixed tight into the hole, it may not be seated correctly & so its leaking.
