Here is one for you all

white knight CL767C tumble dryer with push button start

1, push the button to start.
2, drum goes around about 4 times
3, stops and buzz buzz buzz buzz buzz from around the motor area.

This machine was given to me by a man who had an engineer out to it and fitted a new motor and then he gave up,

This machine has a letter with it from crossley saying that they will supply free parts but i dont know what to order as the motor has been changed.

has or does anyone know this problem as its stuck in my kitchen and you all know how funny house wifes can get .

    thank you

I suggest you get in touch with crossley, advise them of the letter and suggest “they” arrange for a Service Force engineer to call and repair the appliance at their expense. Call customer service on 01422 200660

    Hi Simon,
Do you know if the capacitor was changed with the motor?
I know the motors come seperate without the start capacitor for the motor. Don’t try it yourself especially if you can get someone to do it for you. These are quite fiddly machines to dismantle.
