Hoover Dishwasher HED 6612-80

Hi regarding the above Hoover dishwasher, in the user guide it states
in the ‘control panel’ section that this model has a “broken memory”
function. The description of this function is not clear, can you help
with an understandable explanation. It may help with a problem that I
have had recently.

Hope you can expand on the above function.

p.s my problem was the machine was ‘hanging’ with the 1.pre-wash led
and 2.wash led “both on” and water not being pumped out of the
washer sump.
