As nutty as the Dyson CR01, perhaps even more so but the Titan Washing Machine concept never got off the ground and into production, I wonder why…..???? 😕

I’ve still got a box full of spares for those. Had the training etc. The pioneer of this was full of enthusiasm, but it was the likes of Which doing a bad report that killed it off.

Shame really as a bit of innovation is needed in this trade to raise the profile of the product.

Fraid this lot failed to get the CITY’s backing and could not get investors in to keep them afloat. It was an article on the business news sometime ago on 5 live, only took note because I also still have a box of spares and did the training.

I stumbled on this thread looking for something else and thought it was about time I broke this one…

Rumour has it that Titan will make a return this year under the control of teh original inventor/owner of the machines and that they are being produced in China.

I did hear that one of our loyal members is being used as a consultant on the project. Guess we had best watch this space.

What Happened to the Titan? The answer is that I bought all the rights back from Monotub and started again. I now have a manufacturing facility in the Far East and can make the machines at an economic rate at low volumes. All the initial glitches are fixed and I am now selling to around 10 countries outside the UK. I will be back in the UK in the next few months. Thanks for your interest. Martin Myerscough.

I sincerely hope its a success as it was genuinely innovative.

Just as long as the reincarnation doesn’t involve half arsed production mods like before (transit fixings that were basically wooden wedges fixed to bits of washing line for example) it should be much better. And with the old Malmesbury smoothie not producing at the moment there may be a UK sales opening…

It seems to make my page scroll up very slowly, did anyone mention the weight :rolls: 🙂

A very interesting project, I must say that Mr Myerscough is the sort of bloke you want to succeed, I warmed to him. I wish him all the best, however I still think my next machine will be an ISE.
