Fisher & Paykel GW601 washing machine won’t spin

Hi, our F&P GW601 washer fills, washes and empties fine but won’t enter the spin cycle. The bowl carries on doing left and right bowl checks for several minutes, then it stops and bleeps. The error code at this point is 32. My understanding is this model is “Phase 2 GW” and according to the manual code 32 only applies to Phase 1? In Diagnostic mode the correct LED comes on when the OOB is activated by pushing the bowl to rear corner. One can blow down the pressure tube without much resistance and the problem persists even with the tube taken off the controller. Would appreciate any help on offer!
