Can anyone throw light on the following please –
RS21 DNS american fridge after changing the back panel/ defrost heater/ thermal fuses/ tray heater etc etc due to the usual ice build up, it lasted 2 months before I noticed ice starting to form again and come out of the small left hand vent in the back panel.
Suspecting that the whole thing had iced up behind the back panel again I ordered a complete kit of all the parts except the back cover, just in case 1 or more was faulty. On removing the back cover there was only a small area of ice on the cover itself in the location of the vent & leading towards the fan. (doesn’t ice up on the right hand vent).
Cleaned and defrosted then reassembled with new parts and installed back cover (including clip) – 3 weeks on, same problem occurs again!! Any ideas please?
I have no faults showing up on the control panel and the freezer works correctly.
Could it be that the back cover seal is not sealing correctly or perhaps the fact that I don’t have those little carbon type filters in the vent holes???
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.
