Participanthi guys,
hopefully you folks can help me. basically washing machine in the thread title isn’t draining and leaving soggy clothes and a load of water in the drum.
filter plug at the bottom left of the machine removed and cleaned out(was pretty clean TBH but removed a hair clip!!) I tried spinning the impellor and that seemed to be quite free, with just a bit of resistance, as I think you would expect from a motor. The issue still persisted.
drain hose removed and I blew down it and there didn’t seem to be any evidence of blockage.
I tried it again, and I don’t know if this is significant, but there appeared to be a quite a noise kind of like a loudish buzzing, from the impellor area of the washer. I’m sure this was not there before.
any more ideas? thanks in advance,

thanks lee8. I did post a thankyou yesterday but it didn’t seem to work… anyway, I ordered the part from here and it came this morning, so great service there thanks. I fitted it a short while ago and now have a load in the washing machine. It immediately sounded better, so on initial impressions, it appears that the pump was indeed rodgered.
cheers,

Hmm, i still have an issue. I have a strange light flashing on the front panel which should be the light on the left as shown in the picture, this hasn’t flashed before and there is no reference to it in the manual. Theres also a f18 flashing code, which i believe is a blocked pipe or pump, i had checked the pipes first and now replaced the pump. I guess the pump can be confirmed as ok. So am i correct in believing the problem must lie with a blockage?
Thanks,

Hi Bryn, if the machine is still full of water and your sure the drain hose is clear it must be a blockage In the sump hose which connects the tub to the pump.
