    As usual, I have come to the UK White Goods forum for help on a repair…

    We have a built in Smeg washer dryer which keeps tripping the TOC on drying cycle.

    We have replaced condenser and front bellows, cleaned fan blades and cleaned fan ducting, also replaced trip with new one and also advised customer to dry half loads.

    Still having issues!?

    Any ideas?!

    is cutomer leaving the dryer to run its progamme. ie running the cold 10 mins at the end

    It keeps tripping the TOC, and then no heat is produced until we reset it.

    So pretty sure it’s not down to the programme?

    Thermostat anyone as a TOC is a protective device.

    a few things come to mind
    whats the model no ?
    The Thermostat isn’t doing its job.
    The customer is switching it off early so its not doing the cool down.
