I recently fitted a new heating unit (the one with the stats already fitted) to my Indesit IS70C dryer. The white stat has popped again and the heater is glowing bright red. Any idea why the stat is popping?
I had previously totally stripped the machine and cleaned it thoroughly. Any help appreciated chaps.
BTW The door was never opened during its cycle, the machine just seemed to over heat straight away.Re: Indesit IS70C thermostat
if the heater is glowing am I to assume you are running it with the back open. if so its normal it will it needs to be enclosed to work.
you problem must be down to air flow. check fan, filter, and especially condensor (make sure you can see right through it front to back)Dave
