    Hi i have a swan sw2040w yesterday it blow the main fusebox on the house i plugged it back in and now i get a error code i check code with manual an it says element or thermistor i have check element with multimeter and the thermistor the reading is going up and down ok when hot and cold so them 2 are oki .any ideas on the problem maybee main pcb?

    here is the error code i got

    Err 05
    The start/pause
    light and program
    end light blink.
    The heater of your
    machine or the
    heat sensor has
    failed.

    Hi

    It is no good checking element with a multimeter you need a Megger to check for earth faults. A megger uses 500/1000 volts to show condition of element.

    So would you recommend changing the element?
